Set against the backdrop of the war and a government endangering its democracy, the film explores Tel Aviv through the eyes of foreign women who have moved to the city. Their narratives uncover a dual city: both Middle Eastern and Western, both vibrant and shadowed.


Tal Getritman is a video creator who completed her studies in Film & Television at Sapir College and earned an MA in Visual Communication from Bezalel. Her work has been exhibited globally; her short film Romance won an award at the International Women’s Film Festival in India. Her film Stranger, Sometimes was chosen as an Official Selection at the 2026 Jerusalem Film Festival, where it competed in the Art and Experimental Cinema Competition.
