Independent voices at the Toronto Film & Script Awards

The Toronto Film & Script Awards, which qualify for IMDb, were established in downtown Toronto by a collective of independent filmmakers, writers, cinematographers, and actors. During the pandemic, the festival has primarily operated as a virtual event, featuring online competitions and annual screenings. The festival celebrates independent voices and arthouse film and script projects.

The festival committee aims to promote and market international and Canadian arthouse independent film projects, providing increased exposure and publicity for talented artists. The festival is fostering a vibrant artistic community centered around the language of cinema and indie art film professionals and enthusiasts, in the heart of one of the most dynamic emerging capitals of arts and culture.

The festival is on the lookout for international and Canadian features, shorts, and screenplays. The festival seeks unconventional, auteur-driven films crafted with a personal voice and style. In essence, we are in search of the next generation of Art House! The winners of the latest contest were recently announced by the members of Toronto Film and Script awards.
