“One Battle After Another,” “Hamnet,” and “Adolescence” were among the major winners at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards.
Paul Thomas Anderson’s black comedy secured four awards on Sunday night, including the top prize for musical or comedy motion picture. Teyana Taylor was the first winner of the night, earning the award for supporting female actor for her role as a revolutionary, while Anderson won for both directing and screenplay.
“Hamnet,” directed by Chloé Zhao, claimed the award for drama picture, with Jessie Buckley winning in the female drama actor category. Other film winners included “The Secret Agent,” a Brazilian film featuring Wagner Moura as a professor in hiding during Brazil’s 1970s military dictatorship, and the animated musical hit “KPop Demon Hunters.” “Sinners” won the award for box office achievement.
