The Waking

Since the brutal murder of nine-year-old Greta's mother, she has been tormented by terrible nightmares. Three years later, her father, Miles, relocates them to a new town, hoping a fresh start will aid Greta's recovery. He assures her that her mother's murderer has been apprehended and that she is safe. However, he knows the truth. The killer remains at large, and it's constantly on Miles' mind. When Greta mentions that her nightmares have ceased shortly after moving into their new home, Miles believes he may have made the right decision. Yet, something far worse soon begins to affect Greta. Although she no longer has nightmares while sleeping in her bed, vivid, waking dreams start to trouble her during the day, causing Miles to fear that something very sinister is targeting his daughter.

Previously represented by Entertainment 3:33 and The Muraviov Company, Audrey is an Emmy-nominated, award-winning screenwriter with over a decade of experience, having written two dozen feature films, shorts, and television scripts. She holds a bachelor's degree in TV Writing and Producing from Columbia College Chicago. Her portfolio includes elevated horror, comedies, romantic comedies, and several TV pilots. Audrey has received numerous accolades for her screenplays, such as first place for Best Original Pilot at the National BEA Awards, quarterfinalist at the Filmmakers 1st TV Script Writing Competition, quarterfinalist and runner-up at the 2020 SoCal Screenplay Competition, top ten winner at the 2019 Filmmatic Horror Screenplay Awards, official selection at the 2020 Austin Under the Stars Film Festival, official selection at both the 2021 Manchester Lift-off Film Festival and the 2022 Berlin Lift-Off Film Festival, and quarterfinalist at the 2024 ScreenCraft Horror Screenplay Competition. Additionally, Audrey is the published author of "Wrong Girl Gone," "Only Human," "Landing Like Rain," and her latest work, "The Ever End." She has also delivered professional talks at numerous national and international writing events.
