The seasonal and annual Toronto Women Film Festival promotes and screens about 300 projects every year from all over the globe. Features, shorts and screenplays of all genres compete together in various sections of the festival which has dedicated itself to female talents in media. The hybrid festival is a unique event which focuses on the identity of female cinema and independent artists working on all genres from Canada and abroad.
The jury members are selected from award winning artists, film critics, agents and producers working in media. The 13th edition of the seasonal Toronto Women Film Festival is excited to announce the best of each category for the summers season of 2022. The IMDb qualifying event has turned into a very popular film festival and an institution which stands with female voices and artists who have dealt with women in societies in their films.
