Do not miss the screening of Toronto Women Film Festival
Don't miss the upcoming screening of the Toronto Women Film Festival on September 20th, held at the Innis Town Hall theatre, to highlight female voices and women in film and television. The screening will feature works in fiction, documentary, animation, and experimental genres.
In recent years, the festival has showcased hundreds of films directed by women at Carlton Cinema, Innis Town Hall at the University of Toronto, and online via the women in Film section of Toronto Film magazine. This festival honors and celebrates films created by talented female filmmakers from Canada and around the globe.

The festival emphasizes female-driven narratives, independent female directors, producers, writers, actresses, cinematographers, editors, and all female artists contributing to the cinematic language as women in film. It aims to discover, promote, screen, and award female filmmakers and stories addressing women's issues worldwide.
In recent years, the Toronto Women Festival has emerged as one of the most renowned festivals dedicated to female talents in the film industry. Our jury and programmers are selected from award-winning artists in media from Canada, the United States, Austria, Germany, Japan, Iran, India, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and beyond. Award-winning artists from the Toronto Women Film Festival can also apply to join the jury for a new edition of the competition.
The red carpet, photoshoot, and pre-screening begin at 6 PM, with films screening until 10 PM. Reserve your tickets to enjoy films directed by Canadian and international women directors.
