2025 Golden Globe Winners

"The Brutalist" emerged victorious at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards, honoring the finest in television and film from the previous year.

"The Brutalist," which had seven nominations, secured several awards, including Adrien Brody's first Golden Globe for his leading role, Brady Corbet's win for best director, who also co-wrote the film, and the movie's win as best drama motion picture.

In the film category, Jacques Audiard's "Emilia Pérez" received 10 nominations, the most for any movie, covering areas such as acting, directing, writing, and music. Its stars, Selena Gomez and Zoe Saldaña, received acting nominations while Audiard was recognized for directing, songwriting, and screenplay writing. It won for best musical or comedy and best original song. Saldaña also won the Golden Globe for best actress in a musical or comedy.

"Conclave," the thriller about the election of a new pope, garnered six nominations and won a best screenplay Golden Globe.

"The Bear," last year's leading winner in the television comedy category, achieved the most nominations for any TV show, with five. However, star Jeremy Allen White secured the show's only award this year for best actor. Comedian Nikki Glaser, who impressed audiences at Netflix's "The Roast of Tom Brady" last year, made history as the first woman to host the Golden Globes solo. Glaser was also nominated for her stand-up comedy special "Someday You'll Die," but the award went to Ali Wong. The 2025 Golden Globes were broadcast live on CBS and streamed on Paramount+, where the ceremony can be rewatched starting Monday.
