Women in Post program

The Women in Post program provides higher-level industry access and professional development for emerging to mid-level women-identifying and non-binary creatives working in all areas of post production. Programming includes strategic learning modules, creative and technical skills building, and hands-on mentorship at a post production company and/or shadowing a post production-related role.

The Women in Post Program is presented by Netflix, supported by the RBC Foundation in support of RBC Emerging Artists, industry partner Noodle Factory Post, and community partners the Canadian Cinema Editors and Vancouver Post Alliance.

This is a bilingual program, and the Academy welcomes applicants from Québec and Francophones from other regions; the majority of program sessions will be conducted in English, and some French/bilingual programming will be offered. Applications and materials can be submitted in French or English. Upon request, the program will offer translation to and communication in French whenever possible. Placements will be made in both English and French environments, based on availability, and the preferences of each participant.
